Moorland View
Location: Carnmenellis, Cornwall
Appointment: Sketch Proposals, Planning Application & Building Regulations
Approx. build cost: T.B.C
Tags: Rear Extension, Side Extension, Planning Amendment
Our appointment in relation to this project started at Phase 2, we were asked to make some minor amendments to a previously approved planning application relating to this part of the project.
The first phase was carried out a few years prior and the Client had requested we look at options for increasing the internal space, simplifying the construction in terms of structure and raising the ridge to align with the existing dwelling.
Due to the extent of the amendments, we prepared and submitted a new Planning Application for the scheme.
Following determination, we were appointed to produce the Building Regulations package for the revised Phase 2 scheme.
We were also invited to prepare some Sketch options for Phase 3, which included revising the approved extension to replace the ground floor indoor swimming pool, sauna and hot tub with habitable bedroom suites, as well as some amendments to access, layout / function and appearance.
As with Phase 2, new options were provided in the form of Sketch plans and elevations, which were presented to the Client for comment.
Subsequently we were commissioned to draft and submit the Planning Application drawings to Cornwall Council for determination.
Following successful determination of the revised Planning Application, we are currently in the process of drafting the Building Regulations package.
